ZyDoc Announces Medical Transcription Contract Extension with Alaska Department of Health and Social Services

Islandia, NY, May 4, 2016 – ZyDoc, a New York-based medical transcription and informatics company, is pleased to announce a contract extension to provide medical transcription for Alaska Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) Specialty Clinics. The renewal extends through June 2017 the original contract awarded to ZyDoc in 2014 by DHSS.

Clinicians dictate follow-up and treatment plans via ZyDoc-provided dedicated 800-numbers and receive transcribed reports delivered to their computer desktops or downloadable from ZyDoc’s secure cloud-based system with 24-hour turnaround or less. ZyDoc’s transcription platform allows password-protected and role-based access by clinic administrators and dictating clinicians for real-time job tracking, editing, approval, e-signature and distribution.
