ISLANDIA, NY (PRWEB) JUNE 17, 2016 ZyDoc, a New York-based medical transcription and informatics company, has been selected by Pharma Tech Outlook magazine as one of the Top Ten Clinical Data Management (CDM) Solutions Providers for 2016.
ZyDoc was chosen by the editors and panel of experts at Pharma Tech Outlook for the CDM Top Ten list based on a solid track record of developing innovative healthcare information technologies featuring MediSapien™, ZyDoc’s cloud based, natural language processing-driven medical intelligence platform. Optimized for Real-World Data analytics, with a highly customizable interface, MediSapien enables a wide range of applications for healthcare providers and pharma companies who need to capture, identify, structure, analyze, and share meaningful data from disparate unstructured sources such as dictation, transcription, text-based reports, or data siloed in EHRs.
The June 2016 issue of Pharma Tech Outlook features a profile of ZyDoc with insights by CEO James M. Maisel, MD. As reported, ZyDoc’s CDM solution was customized for use by a pharmaceutical company to identify diabetic retinopathy cases and as a case management system for presentation. According to CEO Maisel, “We designed a singleview snapshot allowing an overview of every individual patient meeting the designated criteria.” The pharma client was able to extract data from several EHR systems and also upload the data from another group of physicians. Prior treatment and disease parameters of the patients were filtered, which helped show clinicians that treatment of patients with diabetic retinopathy with the company’s medication and a similar profile was safe and yielded favorable results.
Since its inception in 1993, ZyDoc’s mission has been to increase the efficiency of physicians through the use of software technology and services to improve patient care and outcomes, lower malpractice risk, and maximize reimbursement.
