Islandia, NY (August 3, 2016) – ZyDoc, a New York-based medical transcription and informatics company, has signed an agreement to provide Parkview Medical Center, Pueblo, Colorado with web-based transcription and EHR data insertion services utilizing ZyDoc’s TrackDoc Flow platform.
ZyDoc’s TrackDoc Flow mobile app integrates ZyDoc’s award-winning transcription services and section-level EHR data insertion, allowing Parkview clinicians to dictate their reports into a smartphone or tablet for transcription by ZyDoc and insertion into the hospital’s eClinicalWorks® EHR at the section level. Users can remotely connect into their eClinicalWorks patient appointment schedules, electronically review and sign transcribed documents, and auto-fax documents to referring practices.
“TrackDoc Flow is an integrated solution ideally suited to the hospital and practice environment.”
According to ZyDoc Vice President of Sales, Kevin Ross, “TrackDoc Flow is an integrated solution ideally suited to the hospital and practice environment because it allows physicians to securely transmit, access, and approve documentation for the EHR with their smartphones or tablets from any location and at any time. Prior to working with ZyDoc, Parkview doctors were using disparate dictation methods including digital recorders and telephone. Typically, they were tediously typing and clicking to document encounters within their EHR, which made review limited. With TrackDoc Flow, the doctors use their smartphones to dictate with encryption and the transcribed text is automatically inserted into the appropriate sections of their EHR.”
The first groups to use TrackDoc Flow at Parkview were physicians and PA’s in the Orthopedics and Cardiology departments, with plans for more departments to onboard in the future.
As with all ZyDoc products, TrackDoc Flow is HIPAA-secure. Users are required to input their password to open their mobile devices, then enter a User ID and their password to use the app. All transmissions use 256-bit encryption. The app is available for iOS and Android devices, with interfaces to all leading EHRs. ZyDoc employs Certified eClinicalWorks EMR and PM solution providers.
Pete Martinez, AVP of Physician Services – Revenue Cycle at Parkview Medical Center explained, “The goal is to deliver the highest quality healthcare to our patients and document it in the most efficient process possible. The healthcare providers that have used the ZyDoc product have been very pleased with its speed along with ease of use compared to other EMR and transcription solutions.”
